Turnover of the entire site to a depth of 3m and the removal of relic foundations, hard obstructions, contaminated material & unsuitable material.

Elevated levels of hydrocarbon impacted soils were removed off site and soils with marginally elevated levels of asbestos fibres were encapsulated in the POS area.

Re-engineering (upfilling) consisted of thick layer dynamic compacted soils using a polygonal roller.

Hard material was processed to yield 6F2 which was used as piling mats over the footprint of the dwellings.

The roads and sewers followed on from the remediation works and these were also completed by DXI along with service diversions.
