Multi-Layered Liner and Capping Systems
Effective containment relies on redundant engineering barriers. DXI specializes in installing high-performance composite lining and permanent capping systems. We begin by profiling the site and placing highly compacted, low-permeability engineered clay liners to form a dense natural barrier.
To maximize protection, this clay base is seamlessly paired with advanced synthetic membranes (such as high-density polyethylene geomembranes). This dual-barrier matrix prevents harmful elements from migrating out of the active cell. When a cell reaches capacity, we deploy the same multi-layered capping philosophy to block rainwater infiltration, effectively neutralizing the risk of future leachate generation.
